CIFS mounts lagging in file browser
my media CIFS/SMB mount lagged in GUI file browsers while scolling large directories. a mount option fixes this.
while browsing my media collection mounted via a CIFS mount, i had the
problem that scolling lagged, which is pretty annoying. turns out that the
attributes are only cached for one second by default. increasing this time
to 30 seconds by adding actimeo=30 to the mount options does help
massivly.
