hidden keys on x260
by chance - meaning by looking up how to invoke magic sysrq fn + s,
figuring that i should try other keys combined with fn - i found out
that contrary to the keyboard labeling, a x260 still does have a
button to send an acpi button/sleep event: it's fn + 4.
rejoice! finally i can remap fn + f7 to really do video switching.
